@Yamisrael well, …
@Yamisrael well, DNA studies show the truth, but I wouldn’t want to argue with you. just google for “y chromosome haptotypes of populations in the middle east”. have fun.. ofcourse the truth is, like always, the simple and least energetic state – about 70% of them are descendants of Jews who converted to Islam over the ages. Thats what their DNA tells us.

@TheChutzpahGirl …
@TheChutzpahGirl the Palestinians are Arabs that came while the occupation of the British of Palestine from all around the Arab world, mainly from eastern Jordan, the Arabic half island, Syria and Egypt. that is 1917 years after Jesus. proof to that is the book of Adrian Riland. google his name.

By Yamisrael on April 29th, 2010 at 8:41 am

@TheChutzpahGirl, …
@TheChutzpahGirl, no, sorry. the Palestinianss are exsisted from 1967. until then Palestinians were Jews. a friend of mine that fought in one of the world wars, a Jew from Palestine, and the whole of his birgade (all are Jews) fought as Palestinians.

@TheChutzpahGirl …
@TheChutzpahGirl did you even read my comment? i said jerusalem is important to jews, both because it is holy, and both because it is our historical capital as a nation.
i don’t what is your religion and where do you live, but let’s say you are a french catholic for example.
jerusalem for jews is like the jerusalem (holy) the Vatican (center, or the source of our religion), and paris (national capital) combined.
jerusalem is not only important to us spiritually, but also nationally.

@TheChutzpahGirl I …
@TheChutzpahGirl I don’t really believe that there is a christian alive which would not respect the Pope as an authority. However, even if that is the case, no christian would take the oath “If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not set Jerusalem above my chief joy”, every year and during the matrimony ceremony. This IS the Jewish custom. Always been. Always will be.

@TheEEStudent
As …

@TheEEStudent
As you say, I will have to excuse you for your ignorance. Rome is a centre for the Roman Catholic Church only. This happens to be the church with all the peadiophilia problems.
Within Christendom, Roman Catholics are a minority. You obviously are unaware of the Orthodox Churches and the Protestant Churches, which are the majority. For the majority of Christians, it would be considered offensive that you would suggest the Pope be an authority.

“If …

@TheEEStudent
“If the day comes when the two-state solution collapses, and we face a South African-style struggle for equal voting rights (also for the Palestinians in the territories), then, as soon as that happens, the state of Israel is finished”, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, November 2007.

@TheChutzpahGirl …
@TheChutzpahGirl problem.. this book was never translated to English. Well, nevermind.. now you have yet another reason, to study Hebrew.

By TheEEStudent on April 29th, 2010 at 8:41 am

@TheChutzpahGirl …
@TheChutzpahGirl That why on many occasions, such as I previously stated which I’m familiar with personally, the land was bought TWICE. once from the landlord and again from the peasants. This didn’t help to alleviate tensions, though. And you really need to understand this was a very delicate issue: read Ben Gurion and Ben Zvi 1918 book, “a land without a nation” – in this book Ben Gurion specifically state his then view later known as scientific fact, that most palestinians are converted Jews.

@TheChutzpahGirl …
@TheChutzpahGirl Negotiating a proper settlement is a dance for two. Remeber that on every Palestinian which lost his properties in ‘48, there is more than one Jew of an Arab nationality which was expelled and lost almost twice the property. If you want BOTH to be compensated – OKAY, that’s what I want too, but not only one sided compensation. This is not acceptable.

By TheEEStudent on April 29th, 2010 at 8:41 am

@TheChutzpahGirl …
@TheChutzpahGirl This was back in 1939. As a direct consequence, the Hagannah decided to evacuate Tira of Jewish presence and compensate the Jewish farmers, for the time being, but compile a list of all surviving participants in the massacre attempt. needless to say, none were left in 1948 inside the state of Israel and today a Kibbutz sits on what’s left of Tira.

By TheEEStudent on April 29th, 2010 at 8:41 am

@TheChutzpahGirl …
@TheChutzpahGirl You see, the “investment from overseas” was wisely used to purchase two very important home appliances: a. a tractor which was shared with the Arab peasants and might have been the reason for their attempt of the massacre and b. a Lewis gun, which stopped them, quite literally, dead in their tracks..

By TheEEStudent on April 29th, 2010 at 8:41 am

@TheChutzpahGirl do …
@TheChutzpahGirl do a little research on “Joseph Trumpeldor work and defence battalion” and learn the also Jews worked in exactly the same conditions as Arabs – these were harsh times for all. As for the “theft of Palestinian land” – well, my ancestors settled in Tira in the Jesreel Valley. This was a small Arab village and they had to buy the land TWICE: once from the landlord and another time from the peasants who sat on it.. and afterwards the Arab peasants tried to massacre them. funny.

By TheEEStudent on April 29th, 2010 at 8:41 am

@TheChutzpahGirl …
@TheChutzpahGirl However, we will pay reparations to the descendants of the 700,000 Arab “refugees”, once a final settlement be reached, in which also the more than 800,000 Jews who were expelled from Arab nations in the middle east, also get their reparations from the Arab nations who expelled them in ‘48, for all their 6 billion dollars worth of properties in ‘48, including nominal interest to this day.

By TheEEStudent on April 29th, 2010 at 8:41 am

@TheChutzpahGirl …
@TheChutzpahGirl Fact one: more than 60% of the area allocated for Jewish part in the partition plan was arid desert (much of the Negev). Fact two: The Jews were satisfied with this arrangement, but were assaulted by five Arab national armies and two local Palestinian militias. However Even then, Ben Gurion formally requested Arabs which reside in the Jewish part NOT to run away. Only rioters were forcibly expelled. Once the dust settled, obviously we do not need to let them come back.

By TheEEStudent on April 29th, 2010 at 8:41 am

@TheChutzpahGirl Is …
@TheChutzpahGirl Is it? I happen to live here so I know everything is correct. We desalinate over 300 MQms of water from the sea every year and make the desert bloom, scientists from Israel win international prizes and we do have a rock solid economy. However, you will go on blaming me as well as “propaganda”, so I really have no choice but to let you see something that simply cannot be ruled as propaganda.. watch?v=0MP3v9_SQdM
these Israeli Arabs are our best troops and fought with us since 47.

@mustang19ms “Your Land”? Palestine never existed as a separate national entity and you know it. watch Bashara admits it:

@nasri1011 Well in …
@nasri1011 Well in my opinion ’society’ as you define must be created in order to prevent our anamalistic and anarchaic motivations. This is the reason governments are constructed outlining laws. I agree with your statement. This argument of the ‘historical land’ is a weak one because as of the sheer age of our planet and the territorial shifts that have resulted through history.

By nasri1011 on April 29th, 2010 at 8:41 am

@Fitplayer66

I …
@Fitplayer66

I disagree with him when he says making borders are part of mans nature.
humans were made free . the government, countries, laws, labels, hierarchy and borders. are not natural instinct, they are forced on us.
but it seems pointless arguing about that.

i know exactly what he means, but its just not relevent when it come to:
“how can any group of humans claim a piece of the 4.54 billion year old planet earth, is historically theirs to own?”
